Ruth Meets Her First Celebrity: Day 4

One of Ruth's Bucket List Items was to meet a celebrity.  Cue the most generous, sincere, and gracious  celebrity-Amy Grant.  I can't tell you how grateful I was to take a three generation picture with Amy Grant.  According to my mom, she had to listen over and over and over and over again to Amy Grant songs.  

When Amy met Ruth, she bent down next to her face and talked to her.  Ruth was impressed with her genuineness, approachability, and friendliness.  Ruth described her as down to earth and not haughty like she thought a celebrity would be.  

Ruth was looking for the young girl she remembered, but she thought Amy was even more beautiful than she remembered. Ruth gave Sherry this album.

 In October 2024, Blair moved in with Sherry and her husband. Blair, who is in the 3rd grade, is enjoying school, which is conveniently located just across the street from our house.  It snowed an inch in January.  Blair made the best out of the small amount of snow and made a snow angel and threw snowballs.
