Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace National Park: Day 8

The 3rd Presidential Home we visited was the birthplace site of the 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.  It is a beautiful National Park in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

This is the first Lincoln Memorial that was built.   It was finished in 1911.  There is a monument around the cabin that Lincoln may have been born in.

Then we went to the Lincoln Museum in Hodgenville.

This was a small lift, but she didn't know how big it was until she went into smaller lifts that were open.

Downtown Hodgenville is so pretty for fall.

It was a nice day in Kentucky.
