The New Golden Girls
In October 2024, Blair moved in with Sherry and her husband. Blair, who is in the 3rd grade, is enjoying school, which is conveniently located just across the street from our house. It snowed an inch in January. Blair made the best out of the small amount of snow and made a snow angel and threw snowballs. The following month, after the passing of Sherry’s father and father-in-law, both her mother and mother-in-law also joined the household. Mary Ruth continues to relish her card games with friends and cherishes the company of her new housemates. Mary Ruth has painted rocks, plays school and babies, and made Valentine holder with Blair. We celebrating her 83rd birthday on New Year's Day. Just before Christmas, Ruth moved in, and our home began to adapt to this new norm. The changes have brought about a positive shift for Ruth.
