Blair loves Disney Characters

When Blair was 2, she flew from TX to FL with Mimi and Presley (who was 1) to go to Disney World for a week.  They had so much fun! They ate breakfast with princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, lunch with Mickey & Friends at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, and dinner with Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace and The Garden Grill with Chip & Dale and Friends. We went to the Halloween Party twice.  They saw Moana, Tarzan & Jane, and The Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, Alice, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

Tiana has been Blair's favorite princess.  Every time she meets her, they just connect.  She didn't know what to think about Dr. Facilier.

Disney Movie Characters






Cruella is such a great character at Disneyland!  She makes the funniest faces and gestures.  She is the best character to see while you are at Disneyland.





Blair has been to Disney World and Disneyland with her mom (Taylor), Mimi, and great grandma (Mary Ruth) a few times.  They love Disney and Disney Characters as much as Blair does.  We just need to get our first generation (Ruth) to go to Disney with us.

The New Golden Girls

 In October 2024, Blair moved in with Sherry and her husband. Blair, who is in the 3rd grade, is enjoying school, which is conveniently located just across the street from our house.  It snowed an inch in January.  Blair made the best out of the small amount of snow and made a snow angel and threw snowballs. The following month, after the passing of Sherry’s father and father-in-law, both her mother and mother-in-law also joined the household.  Mary Ruth continues to relish her card games with friends and cherishes the company of her new housemates. Mary Ruth has painted rocks, plays school and babies, and made Valentine holder with Blair.  We celebrating her 83rd birthday on New Year's Day. Ruth Meets Her First Celebrity: Day 4

One of Ruth's Bucket List Items was to meet a celebrity.  Cue the most generous, sincere, and gracious  celebrity-Amy Grant.  I can't tell you how grateful I was to take a three generation picture with Amy Grant.  According to my mom, she had to listen over and over and over and over again to Amy Grant songs.   When Amy met Ruth, she bent down next to her face and talked to her.  Ruth was impressed with her genuineness, approachability, and friendliness.  Ruth described her as down to earth and not haughty like she thought a celebrity would be.   Ruth was looking for the young girl she remembered, but she thought Amy was even more beautiful than she remembered. Ruth gave Sherry this album. Thank you to Amy Grant , Jennifer Cooke, and Derek Spirk for helping our dreams come true.
